(1) Singyeongju Station → HICO

The city bus stop and taxi stand are located 10 meters to the right of Gate 1 outside F1 of the station. Bus No. 700 takes a direct route to HICO (approx. 21 km and 40 minutes), and the fare is KRW 1,700. A taxi ride to HICO will take 30 minutes and cost about KRW 29,000 one-way. Please note that there are no currency exchange facilities at Singyeongju Station. Please exchange your cash for Korean won at Incheon Airport. (We also recommend that you include KRW 1,000 bills which are the smallest available denomination.) There is also a Tourist Information Center next to Gate 1 on F1 of the station where visitors can ask for directions or more information.

Taxis in Gyeongju
Most taxis in the Gyeongju area accept credit cards.
However, some may request cash only, and it’s always useful to carry some cash (in KRW). The basic fare begins at KRW 2,800.
Please note, rates may vary depending on the district or time of day.

Note 2)
The bus ride from HICO to Singyeongju Station usually takes about 40 minutes. However, it is advised visitors allow for extra time during tourist season, March~October (spring, summer, fall).

1) Taxi

Fares in Gyeongju may be slightly higher than in other major cities like Seoul or Busan because a surcharge is added when travelling to certain districts. All taxis use a metered system, and there are also no separate ‘mobeum’ or deluxe taxis. The minimum fare is KRW 2,800.

Singyeongju Station → HICO: 21km, 30 minutes, approx. KRW 29,000 for one-way fare

2)Gyeongju Intercity / Express Bus Terminals → HICO

Visitors who arrive in Gyeongju via the Intercity or Express Bus Terminal can take a city bus or taxi to HICO. Please note that there are no currency exchange facilities at either terminal. Please exchange your cash for Korean won at Incheon or Gimhae Airports. (We also recommend that you include KRW 1,000 bills which are the smallest available denomination.) Visitors can ask for directions or more information at the Tourist Information Center located between the Intercity and Express Bus Terminal buildings.

- Fares in Gyeongju may be slightly higher than in other major cities like Seoul or Busan because a surcharge is added when travelling to certain districts.
   All taxis use a metered system, and there are also no separate ‘mobeum’ or deluxe taxis. The minimum fare is KRW 2,800.
- Travel time: 15~20 minutes (11 km)
- Fare (one-way): approx. KRW 15,000
* Fares may vary depending on the traffic.

② City Bus

- Buses: Nos. 10, 11, 16, 18, 100-1, 150-1, 700
* We do not recommend Bus No. 11 though it stops by HICO because the bus takes a much longer, indirect route.
- Travel time: 20~30 minutes (11km)
- Fare: KRW 1,300~1,700

3) Gyeongju Station → HICO

Visitors can take a taxi or a city bus from Gyeongju Station to HICO. Please note that there are no currency exchange facilities at Gyeongju Station. Please exchange your cash for Korean won at Incheon or Gimhae Airport. We also recommend that you include KRW 1,000 bills which are the smallest available denomination. Visitors can ask for directions and more information at the Tourist Information Center located inside Gyeongju Station.
