Gyeongju Tourism & MICE Alliance was established in 2015 based on a regional public-private partnership which involves the regional government of Gyeongju, Gyeongju Hwabaek Convention & Visitor’s bureau and other private businesses and organizations.
The Gyeongju Tourism & MICE Alliance is divided into five subcommittees(Policy Support, Accomodation · Food Services, Facilities · Unique Venues, Tourism · Transportation, Event Planning Services).
For the better regional tourism and MICE industry, the members of the GTMA run related programs together and its representatives discuss the issues on regional tourism in the meetings held on a quarterly basis.
