  2. Minimum hours of availability: Minimum rental hours are 09:00~12:00 for the morning, 12:00~17:00 for the afternoon, and18:00~21:00 for the evening sessions. When determining total rental hours, it is advised that Lessee factor in time for arranging the event space, table setting, rehearsal, etc. during the preparation stage as well as the time needed for returning the venue to its original state during the evacuation period.
  3. Overtime fee per hour: An overtime fee will be charged for every hour of use beyond normal operating hours for each session of the day (examples: A. morning B. afternoon C. evening D. full day).
  4. Amenities included in the rental rate for meeting rooms
    • One-time seating arrangement service (in the style of theater, classroom, banquet, etc.).
      * After the initial service has been rendered, the meeting room’s seating arrangement can be changed by the organizers themselves or by HICO for an additional service fee.
    • 1 lectern
    • 2 wire microphones, 2 wireless microphones
    • air conditioning (summer season), heating (winter season), electricity usage fee.
  5. Use of lobby
    1. Lessees renting conference rooms may have free use of approved space for registration desk or information desk.
    2. It is not possible to rent only the lobby without renting conference rooms.
    3. HICO will determine the availability of the lobby based on the duration and size of the Rental.
  6. Waste disposal: The Lessee is responsible for removing industrial waste (stage, props, and various other structures installed by the Lessee for the purposes of the event) at the Lessee’s own cost and expense.

      Example) Rental of 1st floor Exhibition Hall (2,273㎡) for 2 days in April
      - Rent: 1,400 KRW/㎡ × 2,273㎡ × 2 days (duration) = KRW 6,364,400 (VAT not included)
      - Management fee deposit: KRW 1,909,320 (30% of rent at KRW 6,364,400)
    2. The management fee for the Exhibition Hall covers the electricity usage fee, water and sewage, use of compressed air, heating and air-conditioning.The actual usage for the duration of the rental will be measured and calculated after the rental period is over. If the final management fee is lower than the management fee deposit, the difference will be returned to the Lessee. If the final management fee is higher than the management fee deposit, the Lessee must pay the difference to HICO. See below ‘Management Fee for Exhibition Hall’ for reference.
    3. The management fee deposit is based on regular rental rates regardless of whether it is the regular or off-season.
      Example) Rental of 1st floor Exhibition Hall (2,273㎡) for 2 days in May
      Rent: 1,400 KRW/㎡ × 2,273㎡ × 2 days = KRW 6,364,400 (VAT not included)
      Management fee deposit:KRW 1,909,320 (30% of rent at KRW 6,364,400)

      Example) Rental of 1st floor Exhibition Hall (2,273㎡) for 2 days in July (Off-season)
      Rent: 1,120 KRW/㎡ × 2,273㎡ × 2 days = KRW 5,091,520 (VAT not included)
      Management fee deposit: KRW 1,909,320 (30% of rent at KRW 6,364,400)
    4. The management fee deposit rates may be set above 30% depending on the nature and size of the event.
      Example) Industry exhibition: 30% Concerts and performances: over 40%.
    5. Overtime fees are based on the basic fees at either regular or discount rates.
      Example) Event in May: regular rate 1,400 KRW/㎡, overtime rate 140 KRW/㎡,
      Event in July: off season rate 1,120KRW/㎡, overtime rate 112 KRW/㎡
    6. The minimum unit of rental space for indoor exhibitions (which includes the Convention Hall when used for exhibitions) is 1 room. For the purposes of measurement, the 1st floor Exhibition Hall is divided by half and each half (1,136㎡) is counted as 1 room while the 3rd floor Convention Hall (300) is divided by three and each third (300A, 300B, 300C) is counted as 1 room.
